Neural Mechanisms
In building digital twins and comparing simulated phenomena with experimental outcomes, we are identifying crucial gaps in available information. Digital twins can enhance our understanding of the nervous system and its interaction with external physical stimuli, including neural engineering. We advocate using this process to guide experimental research into new, necessary directions. We are always seeking collaborations with partners in preclinical and clinical research to advance the understanding of neural mechanisms.
- Spinal Cord Anatomy
This high-resolution reference atlas provides anatomical and histological data necessary for understanding and modelling the human spinal cord. - Circuits & Behaviour
Here, we present insights into how neural substrates and circuits across the spine perform fundamental computations, drive flexible behaviours and respond differently to varying external stimuli.
